Privacy Policy for HSK Context Trainer

2. Overview

HSK Context Trainer does not require a user account. It does not show ads and does not use analytics, advertising tracking, Firebase, Crashlytics, Sentry, or similar tracking or crash-reporting services.

The app does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone recordings.

3. Local Learning Data and Backups

The app stores learning data locally on your device. This may include word lists, words, training progress, hints, word pairs, settings, statistics, and locally cached purchase-entitlement state.

You can export this local learning data as a backup file. A backup is created on your device and is shared only through the destination you choose. Daanville does not receive it.

You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app or clearing its storage. Deleting the app does not delete a backup file you have exported to another location.

4. Purchases and Purchase Verification

One-time purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details, Google account password, billing address, tax information, or payment method information.

When you make or restore a purchase, the app sends the product ID, purchase ID, transaction date, store source, and an opaque Google Play purchase receipt to Daanville's purchase-verification service. The service sends the information needed for validation to Google Play's developer service and returns only the validation result to the app.

Purchase receipts and purchase tokens are not stored by Daanville. Redacted verification-failure logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting. Google Play may retain purchase information under its own policies.

5. Text-to-Speech

The app can use text-to-speech provided by your device. Daanville does not record your voice. Any processing performed by a device speech service is governed by that service and your device settings.

6. No Advertising or Cross-App Tracking

HSK Context Trainer does not show third-party advertising, sell personal data, or track you across apps or websites for advertising or marketing purposes.

7. Support Requests

If you contact us, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, app version, device details, screenshots, or purchase-related information. We use it only to respond to and follow up on your request.

8. Legal Bases and Retention

Where applicable, purchase verification is processed to provide the purchased feature and prevent purchase fraud or errors. Support processing is based on responding to your request. Local learning data remains on your device until you remove it.

9. Children

HSK Context Trainer is a general language-learning app and is not specifically directed to children.

10. Your Rights and Contact

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. Because the app has no account system, purchase-related requests may require store transaction information to identify the relevant purchase.
